Reviewer Application
An application must be submitted to be considered as a reviewer for FDDC's scoring committees. FDDC will review applications as they are submitted. Notification of acceptance will be issued upon final review of the application.
The Florida Developmental Disabilities Council (FDDC) is seeking individuals who are interested in, and qualified to, review proposals received in response to FDDC’s Invitation for Proposals (IFP).
Qualified individuals must:
· Be over the age of 18
· Have personal or professional awareness/experience with the disability population
· Have a personal or professional background and/or experience with one or more of the following: program evaluation, development/assessment of budgets, and/or services for persons with disabilities.
From time-to-time FDDC issues Invitation for Proposals to fund initiatives under its federal 5-year state plan.
FDDC seeks individuals with a wide range of expertise so that external review panels or Scoring Committees can be developed as needed for each Invitation for Proposal (IFP). Members of the Scoring Committee evaluate the responsiveness of the proposals, score the proposals according to the criteria set forth in the IFP, provide recommendations, and may participate in a group review panel meeting.
Scoring Committee review panel members are generally asked to review between one and 10 proposals depending on the number received for a particular IFP. External reviewers will be compensated for their time reviewing each proposal and to participation in the Scoring Committee meeting. Reviewers are also reimbursed for any travel expenses, if necessary.
If you are interested in sharing your expertise and serving on a Scoring Committee review panel, please complete the application below.
