Pay Fair for Care
Florida families and providers must be able to recruit and retain dedicated people to work with the direct care needs and demands of persons with developmental disabilities. Low wages for direct care staff remains a crisis and must be addressed.
“In 2017 the Florida Developmental Disabilities Council (FDDC) launched the Pay Fair for Care initiative to shed light on the importance of direct care services and support for a fair wage. We hope to gain the attention of legislators and decision makers on this critical issue.
